Our History and Values
Craig Babyak and Christian Rogers founded Prosthetic & Orthotic Solutions, LLC in 2006. The two were first introduced at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago as graduate students pursuing prosthetic and orthotic certification. After many years of independent practice, they chose to combine their thirty years of clinical experience to ensure their patients always receive the highest standards of care. Craig and Christian established their company with the promise that they would, above all else, select devices and components based on the highest degree of function and comfort for their patients. Now, with over 50 years of combined experience, they continue to uphold that promise.

Prosthetic & Orthotic Solutions has been experiencing tremendous growth in both our practice and affiliations with health care organizations. In the winter of 2017-2018, we relocated from our original building in West Springfield, Massachusetts to our new facility a few miles down the road. This allowed us to customize a layout to better meet the needs of our patients and staff by increasing the number of patient rooms and expanding our lab and other staff areas. As we identify needs beyond our home base, we are also expanding the geographical reach of our practice to fill voids in quality service. In January 2018, we opened our satellite location in Bloomfield, Connecticut. By choosing locations along the I-91 corridor, we are easily accessible to patients in cities like Northampton, Springfield, and Holyoke, the hill towns of western Massachusetts, and the greater Harford area. Our collaborations with each region and health care community we serve are designed to improve patient outcomes and deliver the superior care and products that all patients deserve.
With this growth, we remain committed to the values upon which Prosthetic & Orthotic Solutions was founded. We are humbled by and appreciative of the patients who have chosen us, the professionals who refer patients to us, and our employees who share our commitment to patient-centered care. From the very first patients who took a chance on us to the thousands we care for today, an environment of kindness and respect welcomes each person. Our team appreciates that many patients come to us following a life-altering diagnosis that requires long-term care, while others need us for a temporary condition. Regardless of severity and need, each patient receives the same attention to their questions, concerns, goals, hopes, and fears. No matter how complicated the circumstance, there is a solution for everyone.
