Prosthetic & Orthotic Solutions, LLC aims to enhance the quality of life for all of our patients. We fabricate prosthetic (artificial) limbs, braces, and a variety of orthotic devices for patients of all ages in our state-of-the-art technical lab. Patient-centered care is a hallmark of our practice. By combining advanced technology with a team approach, we develop customized products that match our patients’ unique goals for mobility, independence, and personal style. We welcome patients just beginning the process and those looking for an improved fit or second opinion. Whether we are supporting a patient through a short- or long-term condition, we maintain the highest standards for communication and compassion. Our goal is for every patient to understand procedures, participate actively in their treatment plan, and receive a device that provides optimum support, function, and comfort.

Every patient is seen by an ABC Certified practitioner. With a commitment to excellence, our practitioners attend training courses throughout the year and incorporate the latest techniques and products for our patients. Talented technicians work collaboratively with our practitioners and patients to achieve an ideal fit. We are proud to offer an expansive inventory of devices and components that represent the best value: a combination of clinical efficiency, cost effectiveness, and durability. Our knowledgeable, efficient staff will bill most major insurance carriers on our patients’ behalf.

Craig Babyak and Christian Rogers founded Prosthetic & Orthotic Solutions, LLC in 2006. The two were first introduced at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago as graduate students pursuing prosthetic and orthotic certification. After many years of independent practice, they chose to combine their thirty years of clinical experience to ensure their patients always receive the highest standards of care. Craig and Christian established their company with the promise that they would always select devices and components based on the highest degree of function and comfort for their patients. Now, with over 50 years of combined experience, they continue to uphold that promise.

Prosthetic & Orthotic Solutions has been experiencing tremendous growth in both our practice and affiliations with health care organizations. In the winter of 2017-2018, we relocated from our original building in West Springfield, Massachusetts to our new facility a few miles down the road. This allowed us to customize a layout to better meet the needs of our patients and staff, increasing the number of patient rooms and expanding our lab and other staff areas. As we identify needs beyond our home base, we are also expanding the geographical reach of our practice to fill voids in quality service. In January 2018, we opened our satellite location in Bloomfield, Connecticut. By choosing locations along the I-91 corridor, we are easily accessible to patients in cities like Northampton, Springfield, and Holyoke, the hill towns of western Massachusetts, and the greater Hartford area. Our collaborations with each region and health care community we serve are designed to improve patient outcomes and deliver the superior care and products that all patients deserve.
