Prosthetic & Orthotic Solutions provides services to all major medical centers, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and nursing homes. We also provide house calls for those patients unable to leave their home.

At Prosthetic & Orthotic Solutions, LLC we are experiencing tremendous growth in both our practice and affiliations with health care organizations. Our ABC Certified offices in West Springfield, MA and Bloomfield, CT are conveniently located for easy access as a home base and for travel to and from major medical centers, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and nursing homes along the I-91 corridor. We also offer home visits based on medical and transportation need to ensure every patient receives continuity of care.

Mentoring and Internship Opportunities

From helping someone take their first steps with a prosthetic device, to fitting an orthotic brace that relieves discomfort, to seeing the joy on a parent’s face when a pediatric helmet has done its job, we value the role we play in improving patient outcomes and quality of life. Administrative Assistant, Medical Experience Preferred

Job Description: Full-time Administrative Assistant position. Communicates with a variety of individuals in a manner that enhances the reputation of the office and strengthens its relationships, manages patient charts, and provides general administrative and operational support.

Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Duties include, but are not limited to: answering phones, patient registration, appointment scheduling, check in and check out, eligibility verification, and prior authorization requests.

Position: Full-time with benefits

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Location: Must have flexibility work in our West Springfield and Bloomfield offices

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent with good interpersonal skills required and ability to be sensitive and have patience when dealing with patients. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows, and at least 40wpm typing speed.

Experience: One (1) to three (3) years administrative and in-person customer service experience required, preferably in an O&P, DME office or a pharmacy with medical equipment.

 

Spanish-Speaking Administrative Assistant, Medical Experience Preferred

Job Description: Full-time Administrative Assistant position in our West Springfield office. Communicates with a variety of individuals in a manner that enhances the reputation of the office and strengthens its relationships, manages patient charts, and provides general administrative and operational support.

Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Duties include, but are not limited to: answering phones, patient registration, appointment scheduling, check in and check out, eligibility verification, prior authorization requests, and translation for medical appointments and phone calls.

Position: Full-time with benefits

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Location: Must have flexibility work in our West Springfield and Bloomfield offices

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent with good interpersonal skills. Strong Spanish-speaking and writing skills, ability to translate for practitioners in a medical setting and take phone calls for Spanish-speaking patients. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows, and at least 40wpm typing speed.
